Chocolate Bark Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 1/2 c. flour
    6 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats; let stand.
    Cream sugars and shortening.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add chocolate.
    Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
    Add alternately to creamed mixture with oats.
    Stir in vanilla, raisins and nuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
