Pork Chop Hongroise(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large pork chops
    salt and fresh pepper
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3/4 c. chicken stock or dry white wine
    pinch of thyme
    1 bay leaf
    1 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. paprika
Preparation
    Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper and saute in butter in skillet.
    Add onion, garlic, thyme and bay leaf and saute over medium-high heat until chops are well-browned.
    Lower the heat and add chicken stock or wine. Cover and cook 30 minutes.
    Remove chops to a warm serving platter and keep warm.
