Ira'S Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 can chickpeas
    1 can lima beans
    1 can green beans
    1 can yellow wax beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    4 medium onions
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Drain off all juice from the beans in the cans.
    Peel the onions and cut them into rings.
    Add the onions to the beans in a large bowl.
    Toss together all ingredients.
    Add sugar, salad oil, salt, pepper and vinegar.
    Refrigerate overnight.
