Ingredients

1/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. half and half
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Saute pecans in butter until lightly browned, 3 to 5 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Combine brown sugar, eggs and half and half in a saucepan.
Stir until it simmers.
Simmer 2 minutes and set aside.
Stir in whipping cream, vanilla and pecans.
Pour into ice cream canister.
Freeze in ice cream maker.
Makes about 1 quart. (Good!)
