Apricot Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can unpeeled apricot halves (water pack), drained
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. skim milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    few drops rum flavoring or almond extract
    dash of ground cardamom or ground nutmeg
Preparation
    If desired, slice 2 apricot halves for garnish; set aside.
