Blond Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Melt butter over low heat or in microwave.
Stir in brown sugar until well blended.
Stir in egg.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Spread in a well-greased 8-inch square pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 25 minutes. Do not overbake!
Cut into bars or squares while still warm. Serves 8.
