Sue Gander'S Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. or 1 (6 oz.) pkg. apricot flavored gelatin
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, undrained
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    2 envelopes whipped topping mix, prepared according to pkg. directions
Preparation
    Stir together gelatin, hot water and sugar.
    Add cream cheese. Beat with an electric mixer while hot, until thoroughly mixed. Chill mixture until practically set.
    Fold in pineapple, oranges and mixed topping. Pour into an oiled 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish. Chill until set.
    Cut into squares to serve.
    Yields 12 to 15 servings.
