Asparagus Rolls - cooking recipe

1 loaf thin sliced Pepperidge Farm white bread
1 can asparagus spears
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 lb. butter, melted
Preparation

Trim crusts from bread.
With rolling pin, roll bread as thin as possible.
With electric mixer, mix thoroughly the grated Cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese and egg.
Spread mixture on bread.
Put 1 asparagus spear on each slice of bread and roll up. (One can of asparagus spears yields about 15 to 22 spears.)
Roll each in melted butter.
Freeze!
While frozen, slice in thirds and bake until crisp, for approximately 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
