Tortellini Or Ravioli With Ham And Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 pt. heavy cream
    about 1/2 stick butter
    minced good quality ham
    Cognac (optional)
    9 or 10 fresh sage leaves, sliced thin or oregano/parsley/chives or anything green and fresh and minced
    fresh grated Italian cheese
Preparation
    Simmer heavy cream and butter and greens in pan very slowly until it cooks off a bit.
    Add ham; simmer a bit more.
    A great addition, if you are so inclined, is a touch of cognac, during the simmering process.
    Add your cooked tortellini or ravioli and mix in a good handful of fresh Parmesan or similar grating cheese.
