Smoked Sausage And Corny Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 tsp. dry minced garlic
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    6 c. water
    2 c. chopped potatoes
    16 oz. fully cooked, smoked turkey sausage
    2 cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    2 c. chopped cabbage
    1/2 c. catsup
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Place oleo, onion and garlic in a 4-quart Dutch oven.
    Cook until tender but not brown.
    Add water, potatoes, sausage and beans.
    Stir in beef bouillon.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Add cabbage, corn, catsup, vinegar and sugar.
    Simmer 10 minutes more.
