Carrot-Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. shredded carrots
    1 c. golden raisins
    3 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. oil
    1 (15 oz.) jar applesauce or 1 2/3 c.
    1 c. chopped walnuts, divided
Preparation
    In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg; set aside.
    With whisk, beat the eggs.
    Stir in oil, sugar and vanilla.
    Add applesauce and carrots; mix well.
    Add to flour mixture, stirring to moisten.
    Fold in raisins and 1/2 cup walnuts.
    Pour into greased pan or pans.
    Sprinkle on remaining walnuts.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 until done.
