Baked Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, cut in chunks
    2 c. onions, diced
    2 c. potatoes, quartered
    2 c. carrots, in chunks
    2 c. celery, cut large
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 c. vegetable tomato juice (V-8)
    5 Tbsp. tapioca
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in order given, in baking pan with a tight fitting lid.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours.
