Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    12 oz. frozen orange juice
    4 bananas, mashed
    46 oz. pineapple juice
    2 liters ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil together the sugar and water until it is very thick like a thin syrup.
    Add the orange juice, bananas, pineapple juice (mixed and frozen in 1/2-gallon container).
    Thaw the juice at least 2 hours.
    Pour into large bowl.
    Add 2 liter bottle of ginger ale.
