Spiced Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 lb. pecans
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except the pecans and cook to a soft ball stage, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add the pecans; stir until they are evenly coated.
    Pour out onto waxed paper and cool.
    When cool, separate into pieces.
