Microwave Pecan Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar (light)
    1 (8 oz.) carton whipping cream
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. pecans
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
Preparation
    Mix sugar and whipping cream in Pyrex or other microwave-safe dish.
    Cook on High for 7 minutes.
    Stir and cook 7 more minutes on High.
    Add margarine, vanilla extract and pecans.
    Stir well and cook an additional 2 minutes on High.
    Stir for about 1/2 to one minute.
    Scoop out on waxed paper (about 2 heaping tablespoonfuls for each piece).
