Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 small pkg. dates, cut
1 egg
1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook first 4 ingredients over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cool; shape into balls and roll in flaked coconut.
