Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pie crust, unbaked
    1/2 lb. bacon, crisply fried
    1 c. Swiss cheese, shredded
    1/3 c. minced onion
    4 eggs
    2 c. light cream
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. sugar (optional)
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Sprinkle fried bacon, cheese and onion in a pastry shell. Beat eggs, cream, salt, sugar and pepper; pour in pie shell.
    Bake 15 minutes at 425\u00b0; then reduce heat to 300\u00b0 and continue to bake another 30 minutes.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
