Sylvia'S Clam Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) can whole baby clams in juice
    1 stick butter or margarine
    4 oz. pkg. Ritz crackers, crumbled
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 medium onion, minced
    1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
    1/4 c. (rounded) grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter (margarine) in medium frypan.
    (Do not brown.) Saute onion in melted butter (margarine) only until transparent (not browned).
    Stir in all other ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Place in a buttered or Pam sprayed 1-quart casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly and browned on top. Serve warm.
    Spread mixture on additional Ritz crackers.
