Enchilada Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1 can enchilada sauce
    3/4 lb. grated cheddar cheese
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, chopped and peeled
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 pkg. chips
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion, add enchilada sauce.
    Simmer. Mix soup and chilies and bring to a boil.
    Layer in dish as follows:
    chips, meat, cheese, soup mixture.
    Repeat layers. Store in refrigerator overnight.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
