Chicken Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fat fresh hen
    1 doz. boiled eggs
    1 large onion
    3 or 4 ribs celery
    1 pkg. bread crumbs
    1 can cream of chicken herb soup
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 or 3 tsp. sage
    1 pkg. gizzards
    3 or 4 c. livers
Preparation
    Boil hen, gizzards and livers until tender.
    Bake a large, flat pan of Egg Bread.
    Saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Cut up all meat, 3 or 4 slices of bread and 4 or 5 saltine crackers.
    Mix all.
    Take chicken off bone or leave it on.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
    Put a little bacon drippings on top.
