Sweet Onion Pockets - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped Vidalia onions
1/2 c. chopped yellow squash
1/4 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. bacon bits
1 c. American processed cheese spread, cubed
2 Tbsp. butter, cut into bits
1/8 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans crescent rolls
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except rolls.
On a lightly floured board, separate each can of rolls into 4 rectangles each, making a total of 8.
Press perforated edges together.
Place approximately 2 to 3 tablespoons of onion mixture over half of each roll.
Fold edges together; press with a fork.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Serves 8.
