Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. sauerkraut
8 strips bacon
1 large onion
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation

Wash kraut in cold water.
Cook over low heat with 1/2 cup water.
Cut bacon in small pieces and brown with onion.
Drain fat off bacon.
Add kraut; add caraway seed and sugar.
Cook 1 1/2 hours.
