Janet'S Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    1/4 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    vanilla wafers
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, mix flour and sugar. Add beaten egg yokes and milk.
    Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla.Layer pan with vanilla wafers, sliced bananas and pudding mixture.
    Make meringue by beating egg whites until stiff, adding 1/4 c. sugar at the end. Top pudding with meringue.
    Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 5 minutes or until meringue is slightly browned.
