Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
butter
2 tsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
5 banana, peeled and halved lengthwise
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 c. chopped pecans
1 small bottle maraschino cherries
Preparation

Combine cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup melted butter and sugar; mix well.
Pat into 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Bake in preheated 300\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
Cool.
Cream eggs, confectioners sugar and 1 cup softened butter together until light and fluffy.
Pour over crust.
Spread pineapple over top.
Arrange banana halves over pineapple.
Spread Cool Whip over bananas.
Sprinkle pecans. Indent (score) lightly into sections.
Place 1 cherry in center of each section.
Chill thoroughly.
A layer of strawberries may be placed over bananas for variation, if desired.
