Chicken-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice
    1 c. onion soup
    4 to 6 chicken breasts or chicken pieces
    salt to taste
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Butter bottom and sides of baking dish.
    Rinse rice and place in dish.
    Pour onion soup, undiluted, over rice.
    Lay pieces of broiling size chicken over soup and rice, spreading out so each piece can brown.
    Sprinkle with salt; add mushroom soup.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until chicken is tender.
