Chocolate Dipped Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    dried peaches, dates, figs, apples or pears
    fresh strawberries, pineapple, bananas or oranges
    1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate or chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vegetable shortening
Preparation
    Melt chocolate with shortening.
    Prepare fruit for dipping. Using tongs or your hand, dip fruit halfway into melted chocolate. Place dipped fruit on waxed paper or into individual candy cups. Chill fruit.
    Store in a cool place.
