Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. McIntosh apples, chopped
    8 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
    2 c. salted Spanish peanuts, beaten
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Blend pineapple juice, sugar, flour, vinegar and beaten egg in saucepan.
    Cook, stirring, until thick.
    Cool completely.
    Fold in Cool Whip, pineapple, peanuts and apples.
    Chill.
    Serves 10.
