Cooked Spiced Apples From Hickory Bridge Farm - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium Granny Smith apples
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Pare apples and slice them thick.
    Place in saucepan in 1 cup water.
    Cook over medium heat until soft.
    Stir carefully to prevent sticking.
    Add sugar and margarine and cook a few more minutes.
    Pour into bowl and add spices.
