Hominy Luncheon Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. yellow cornmeal
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. tomato juice
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can hominy, drained
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion in skillet; add paprika, chili powder, sugar, cornmeal and salt.
    Add tomato juice to beef mixture; stir well.
    Simmer several minutes.
    Place hominy in greased casserole. Pour mixture over.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese is melted and browned slightly.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
