Udon(Japanese Noodle Soup) - cooking recipe

1 pkg. Udon noodles
Dashinomoto (soup flavoring)
1/4 c. soy sauce
6 c. water
1/3 c. Mirin (sweet rice wine)
1 lb. boneless pork, chicken or shrimp
Kamaboko (steamed fish cake)
julienne green beans and carrots
mushrooms, sliced
snow peas or Chinese pea pods
green onions, chopped
3 hard-boiled eggs
Preparation

Cook Udon noodles in a large pot of boiling water until tender.
