Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 qt. strawberries, sieved
juice of 2 lemons
Preparation

Combine sugar and 1 cup water into a saucepan.
Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
Cool slightly.
Add strawberries and lemon juice.
Pour into ice cube tray; freeze.
Yields 8 to 12 servings.
