Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 stick margarine or butter, melted
2 sticks butter or margarine (room temperature)
2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
3 to 5 bananas
1 large Cool Whip
1 small can chocolate syrup
nuts, chopped
maraschino cherries
Preparation

Mix cracker crumbs and melted butter; line bottom and sides of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Refrigerate 2 hours in refrigerator or 1 hour in freezer.
Mix powdered sugar, 2 sticks of butter and eggs; beat 8 to 10 minutes until it is like buttercream.
Spread on cracker crust.
Drain pineapple; spread on cream mixture.
Slice bananas over pineapple layer.
Top with Cool Whip.
Drizzle chocolate syrup on top; sprinkle on chopped nuts and garnish with maraschino cherries.
