Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 pt. (8 oz.) sour cream
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 stick butter
    1 tube Ritz or Town House crackers
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except butter and crackers.
    Spread in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Melt butter, crush one tube of crackers, and combine.
    Spread over potato mixture and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
