Frankie And Johnnie'S - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising corn meal
1 1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening, melted
3 Tbsp. chopped onions
4 frankfurters
Preparation

Grease cornstick pans well and heat in 450\u00b0 oven while preparing batter.
Measure corn meal into bowl and add milk, beaten egg, melted shortening and chopped onion.
Slice each frankfurter into 16 slices.
Pour batter into 12 corn stick pans 1/3 full. Place 5 slices frankfurters on top of each.
Cover with remaining batter.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
