Blond Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2/3 c. melted butter
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix well first three ingredients.
    Add remaining ingredients, blending well.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Sprinkle top with chocolate chips and chopped pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    (I put my chocolate chips and nuts in batter before baking.)
