Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. baking molasses
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. hot water
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add with hot water.
    Mix. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
