Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small strawberry jello (dry)
    3 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    4 to 6 drops red food coloring
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Cook in iron skillet until thick.
    Stir constantly.
    Let cool before pouring into a baked pie shell filled with sliced strawberries.
    Top with Cool Whip, if desired.
    Chill 3 to 4 hours before serving.
