Aunt Lill'S Schaum Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar, sifted
    8 egg whites, beaten until creamy
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Gradually add sugar to egg whites and beat until very stiff; will stand in peaks.
    Fold in vinegar and vanilla.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake for 1 hour at 275\u00b0.
    Serve with fresh fruit on top.
