Denver Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water and 1/4 c. sugar
    4 c. milk, scald and cool to lukewarm and add to yeast mixture
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. Crisco oil
    4 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix dry yeast, milk, sugar, Crisco oil and 4 cups of flour. Mixture should look like pancake batter.
    Let rise until double in size.
    After the batter has risen, add baking powder, soda, salt and 2 to 4 cups of flour.
    Flour board; roll and cut out like biscuits.
    Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise awhile; freeze.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
    Makes 60 biscuits.
