Award Winning Peaches And Cream Pie(This Has An Unusual Crust.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 t. baking powder
    3 T. butter, softened
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 t. ground cinnamon
    1-3 oz. pkg. non-instant vanilla pudding mix
    1-2 oz. can sliced peaches, drained and syrup reserved
    1-8 oz. pkg. soft cream cheese
    1/2 t. salt
    1 large egg
    1/2 cup milk
    1 T. white sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Grease sides and bottom of a 10 inch deep-dish pie pan.
    Mix together flour, salt, baking powder and pudding mix.
    Mix in butter, egg, and milk.
    Beat for 2 minutes now pour this mixture into pie pan.
    Arrange sliced peach slices on top of pudding mixture.
    In a small mixing bowl, beast cream cheese until fluffy, add 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tablespoon reserve peach syrup, beat for 2 minutes.
    Spoon mixture over peaches to within 1 inch of pan edge.
    Mix together 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and sprinkle over top.
    Use Freestone Peaches in heavy syrup.
    Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until golden brown.
    Chill and serve.
