Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. shortening
2 c. fresh cooked or canned pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and pumpkin, mixing well.
Add remaining ingredients as listed, mixing after each addition.
Bake in tube or Bundt pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray and floured.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes; then lower heat to 300\u00b0 and bake 55 minutes.
Remove cake from oven and let cool for about 10 minutes before removing from pan.
