Chiffon Birthday Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. oil
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
    3 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    5 tsp. baking powder
    7 egg yolks
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    9 egg whites
Preparation
    Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
    Place flour, baking powder, water, oil, sugar, extract and egg yolks into a separate bowl and
    beat.
    Fold
    in\tegg whites and pour into an ungreased 14 inch
    round
    pan
    or
    oblong pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Decorate to your satisfaction.
