Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 egg
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 stick butter
    bread crumbs
    salt and pepper (to taste)
Preparation
    Dice squash. Cook in boiling water until done. Drain.
    Add butter and mash.
    Add all other ingredients. Place in casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
