Sparkling Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 small bottle cherries
    1 small pkg. cherry gelatin
    1 c. cold Coca-Cola
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Drain fruit and reserve juice.
    Add water to juice to make 1 cup liquid.
    Bring to a boil and add gelatin.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Cool and add Coca-Cola.
    Chill until thickened; fold in fruit, cheese and pecans.
    Chill until firm.
