Mazetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 1/2 c. chopped celery
    2 c. chopped onions
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium-fine noodles
    2 cans tomato soup
    1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese (2 c.)
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 onion, sliced
    2 thin carrots, sliced
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 sweet red pepper, cut into thin slivers
    1 c. green beans, cut into 2-inch lengths, or snow peas
    3 c. chicken broth
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 can corn (plain; not creamed)
    1 (4 oz.) can ham
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
    3 oz. or more Chinese noodles
Preparation
    Use a wok or large saucepan to heat the oil.
    Stir-fry the onion and carrot for 3 minutes.
    Add garlic, ginger and red pepper.
    Stir-fry for 1/2 minute.
    Add green beans, broth, water and soy sauce.
    Cover.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes more.
    Lower heat to simmer.
    Add corn, ham and mushrooms.
    Return to a boil, stirring.
    Cover.
    Turn off heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
    Top with Chinese noodles and serve.
