Overnight French Toast Deluxe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 (3/4 inch thick) slices French bread (I use thick sliced bread)
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. orange juice
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, divided
Preparation
    Place bread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Combine eggs, milk, sugar, salt, orange juice and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Pour mixture over bread slices; turn slices over to coat evenly.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
