Great Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening (butter, margarine, lard or hydrogenated fat)
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. ground cloves
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
2 c. chopped or ground pecans
Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar and shortening and add dry ingredients and milk alternately.
Beat with an electric beater.
Add pecans. Bake in a greased tube pan at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
