Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    2 to 3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 to 3 c. chopped apples (June apples make the best cake)
    3 c. self-rising flour
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 to 1 c. nuts (if desired, good without them)
Preparation
    Beat eggs, add oil, sugar, some flour or all, apples and vanilla.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Punch holes in hot cake.
    Pour over topping.
