Chile-Egg Puff - cooking recipe

8 oz. Jack cheese
5 eggs
1 c. cottage cheese
1/4 c. margarine, melted and cooled
1/4 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (4 oz.) can diced Ortega chiles, drained
Preparation

Shred Jack cheese.
Beat eggs thoroughly.
Add cottage cheese and margarine.
Mix well.
Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix.
Add shredded cheese and chiles and stir to blend.
Pour into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and center appears firm.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
