Rancho Dagwood - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large loaf sourdough French bread
    1 pkg. soft, mild processed cheese or Cheese Whiz
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sliced green onions
    5 large mushrooms, sliced or 1 (4 oz.) can
    1/2 tsp. crumbled dried oregano
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Slice French bread lengthwise.
    Spread with processed cheese. Brown ground beef until crumbly.
    Add salt and spoon over cheese. Sprinkle with green onions, mushrooms and oregano.
    Spoon over tomato sauce.
    Bake in a very hot 450\u00b0 oven for 5 minutes.
